Joining a Session (Provider)
Follow the steps below to join your scheduled appointment and navigate the video session interface effectively.
Joining the Appointment
- The dashboard
- Locate and click on the appointment.
- Join the Video Session
- Click the “Join Video Session” button.
- Waiting Room
- If you have chosen to utilize the waiting room functionality, you will enter a waiting room before the call starts.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that pop-ups are allowed in your browser for the window to open properly.
Also, ensure your microphone and camera are enabled for the website.
In the Waiting Room
- Send chat messages to the patient.
- Review session details, including the appointment time, Patient info, and any shared notes.
Starting the Session
To start the session, click the blue Start session button in the center or leave the call by hitting the Leave waiting room button.
- After starting the call, you will see a screen where you can check your microphone, speaker, and camera settings.
- Confirm that everything is working properly.
- Press “Join Call” to enter the live session.
During the Session
In the bottom right corner, you will have access to four tools:
- Chat: Send and receive messages with the patient.
- Attachments: View or upload shared documents.
- Session Details: Review information about the appointment.
- Participants: See who is currently in the session.
Once one of these tools has been selected, to close out or navigate to the other tools, use the Three dot icon in the middle. Selecting the tool, you are currently using will close the tool.
