Joining a Session (Patient)
Follow the steps below to join your scheduled appointment and navigate the video session interface effectively.
Joining the Appointment
- Upcoming Appointments
- From the Dashboard locate and click on the appointment listed under your Upcoming Appointments.
- Join the Video Session
- Click the “Join Video Session” button.
IMPORTANT: If there are any documents that are required to be completed before he appointment, the “Join Video Session” button will not be available.
- Click the “Join Video Session” button.
- Allow the Waiting Room to Load
- You may enter a waiting room before the call starts.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that pop-ups are allowed in your browser for the window to open properly.
Also, ensure your microphone and camera are enabled for the website.
In the Waiting Room
While you wait for the provider to join, you can use the buttons in the top right to:
- Send chat messages to the provider (Massage Icon on the left).
- Review session details, including the appointment time, provider name, and any shared notes (Document Icon on the Right).
Starting the Session
Once the session begins:
- You will see a screen where you can check your microphone, speaker, and camera settings.
- Confirm that everything is working properly.
- Press “Join Call” to enter the live session.
During the Session
In the bottom right corner, you will have access to four tools:
- Chat: Send and receive messages with the patient.
- Attachments: View or upload shared documents.
- Session Details: Review information about the appointment.
- Participants: See who is currently in the session.
Once one of these tools has been selected, to close out or navigate to the other tools, use the Three dot icon in the middle. Selecting the tool, you are currently using will close the tool.
