Recording Additional Vital Signs on Consult Screen
This article explains how to record additional vital signed on the consult screen.
- Additional vital signs information can also be recorded on the Consult Screen. To gather new vitals data, select the Vital Signs icon on the Device Panel to access the Vital Signs panel.
- If the patient is connected to a compatible vital signs device, the patient’s vitals will continuously read and update in the Vitals Overlay.
- To add recorded vitals values to the consult record, select the Record Values icon. The vital signs data will appear as new plot points on the graph and add a new entry to the table below the graph.
- To manually record a new set of vitals data, select the Manual Entry icon. Enter the applicable vitals values and select Yes, record values and continue. The new set of vitals values will then populate on the graph and add a new entry to the table. This can be done as many times as needed throughout the consult.
