eNcounter Direct-to-Patient
Recording Chief Complaints
This article explains how to record chief complaints within eNcounter®.
- When entering the Chief Complaints screen users will be automatically prompted to select the desired camera and microphone for a video conference.
- After clicking OK a video conference window will appear indicating that the user has entered a virtual waiting room similar to a doctor’s office.
- Hovering over the window displays various video conference options such as Mute, Video On/Off, Screen Share, Camera Controls.
- Click the red phone icon to end the call.
- eNcounter Allows users to record relevant patient data for the consult such as chief complaints, duration of symptoms, and personal background.
- Selecting “Other Complaints” or “Other Background” will provide an area directly below the associated section that allows users to record additional information. Users can also skip this step for consults that do not require a record of chief complaints or personal history.
