Patient Verification & Existing Consult Review
This article explains how to verify patients and review existing consults.
- The verification screen allows users to select the location relevant to the case as well as review the pertinent patient information. If the patient or case info needs to be updated, click the Go back arrow.
- Users can proceed with the new consult by selecting Yes, proceed with consult or review information documented in existing consults by selecting Yes, review existing consults.
- To access the desired consult, click the View button.
- The following image and table indicate the function of each feature available on the Consult Data Review screen. After reviewing the existing consult(s), users must click the Go back arrow and select Yes, proceed with consult to proceed with the new consult.
Consult Data Review Screen Features

| 1 | Zoom | • Allows users to adjust image zoom and viewing window proportion. |
| 2 | Enhance | • Allows users to adjust image contrast and brightness. |
| 3 | Invert | • Allows users to invert the colors of an image. |
| 4 | Refresh | • Remove all previous image manipulations. |
| 5 | Report | • Allows users to write a new Case Documentation Report. |
| 6 | Notes | • Allows users to write a new Case Note. |

Share | • Allows users to transfer a connected institution or direct referral to an end user for review. The Share Study Interface allows the user to share studies to DICOM nodes at a different institution. |
| 8 | Header | • Provides technical data specific to the DICOM signals and value representation for the study. |
| 9 | Review | • Allows user to mark the study as reviewed. |

Attach | • Allows users to attach a PDF to a study. Users have the option to drag and drop a PDF or browse and select from local files. Once the PDF is chosen, it will appear in the left panel of the Consult Review screen. |
