Utilizing the License Manager
The License Manager allows users to manage various application elements that are conveniently organized into collapsible sections such as Version Notes, License Information, Institution Data, and Component Status.
Note: The application must be registered using a valid license key to begin using the software or extend the software usage period.
Accessing the License Manager
Launch the License Manager using the designated icon in the system tray.
Version Notes
Selecting ‘Version Notes’ will display a prompt detailing the changes and relevant information related to the most recent version of the application.
License Information
The License Information section displays all the relevant information related to licensing for the application, as well as allowing users to refresh or edit the license.
Refresh License
Clicking ‘Refresh License’ will trigger a verification process that checks the license server for any newly added features or updates. This will cause any content that has been added to an existing license to be applied immediately without having to wait the standard 24hr implementation period for license changes.
Edit License
Clicking ‘Edit License’ will display the License Key prompt. The user can utilize the ‘Paste Key’ button to populate the license key field with the copied license key characters or edit the key in the license key field manually.
After populating the license key field, select ‘Activate Now’ to activate the application.
Licensed Applications
The 'Licensed Applications' section displays a comprehensive list of applications that are authorized for use within the institution.
Component Status
The Component Status section provides a list of the components that are included within the application installer file, along with a corresponding status indicator for each item.
Status Indicators
- If any components are listed with an indicator other than a green check mark (which indicates the component is working correctly), a reinstallation of the application will need to be performed. Follow the instructions listed in the "Migrating to Newer Version with Manual Update" section to complete the reinstallation process.
- If reinstalling the application does not change all status indicators to green check marks, please contact your system administrator for additional assistance.
