Logging in and Logging out
This article explains out to log in and out of eNcounter software.
Launching eNcounter
1. Once eNcounter is installed, launch the application using the eNcounter desktop icon.
Logging Into eNcounter
- Enter valid username and password credentials.
- Select Ensure all devices are cleared of previous patient data. If not selected, the user will not be able to log into the application.
- If your institution has an active directory activated, eNcounter automatically logs you in when you sign into your PC with your Windows credentials.
Note: Make sure you are logged into your own account when active directory is activated. You will be prompted to enter your account credentials if a session lock is activated.
Note: For government customers, users will access the system via a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card or via a Common Access Card (CAC).
Logging Out of eNcounter
- Click the user avatar at the top right corner of the screen to access the User Account panel.
- Select Sign Out at the bottom of the panel.
